Privacy policy

This policy explains how WITWEB SOLUTIONS ("we", "us") handles information when you interact with the Instagram account @aibyabdul and its companion app, aibyabdul-publisher. The account is managed by Abdul Muqtadir on behalf of WITWEB SOLUTIONS.

What the app does

The app publishes our own reels to @aibyabdul, and responds when someone comments a reel's keyword (for example "SECURE") by sending them the resource that reel offered, as a direct message, and replying to their comment. It only acts on comments on @aibyabdul's own posts.

Information we receive

When you comment on one of our posts, Instagram makes the following available to our app:

• your Instagram username and an Instagram-scoped ID
• the text of your comment, and its ID
• which of our posts you commented on

We don't receive your password, email address, phone number, contacts or private messages you haven't sent to @aibyabdul.

How we use it

• To check whether your comment contains the keyword for that post.
• If it does, to send you the requested resource by direct message and reply to your comment.
• To reply to messages you send us.

We don't use this information for advertising, profiling or any automated decision about you, and we never sell it.

Storage and retention

Our app processes each comment at the moment Instagram notifies us and doesn't keep a copy of your comment or profile in its own database. Short-lived technical logs (for example, "a message was sent to @username") may be kept by our hosting provider for up to 30 days to diagnose problems, then deleted. Messages exchanged with @aibyabdul remain in Instagram, where you can delete your side of the conversation at any time.

Who processes it

• Meta Platforms (Instagram), which delivers comments and messages under Instagram's own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and the service that receives Instagram's notifications.

We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

• Commenting a keyword is optional. If you don't want a DM, don't comment the keyword.
• You can delete your comment, block @aibyabdul, or delete our conversation in Instagram at any time.
• You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. See data deletion.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Children

The account is aimed at adults and working professionals. Instagram requires users to be at least 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
